It is located in the eastern part of the region 27 km north-west of Vyazma , 16 km west of the P134 Staraya Smolenskaya road, Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov . 20 km east of the village is located the railway station O.p. The 232nd km on the Vyazma - Rzhev line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
