It is located in the eastern part of the region 18 km north-east of Vyazma , 5 km north of the Belarus highway M1 . 2 km north of the village is the railway station O.p. 218th km on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
