It is located in the eastern part of the region, 6 km south-east of Vyazma , 8 km east of the P132 highway Vyazma - Kaluga - Tula - Ryazan , on the bank of the Sveёlki river. 2.5 km south-west of the village there is a railway station Kolozovka on the Vyazma- Zanoznaya line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
