Located in the eastern part of the region, 30 km south-west of Vyazma , 2 km north of the P134 “Staraya Smolenskaya road” highway Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the bank of the Osma River . 17 km north of the village is located the railway station of the 273rd km on the Moscow - Minsk line .


History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
