It is located in the eastern part of the region, 8 km southwest of Vyazma , 1 km north of the P134 Staraya Smolenskaya road, Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the banks of the Novoselka River. 2 km north-east of the village is the railway station Gredyakino on the line Moscow - Minsk .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
