Located in the eastern part of the region, 10 km south-west of Vyazma , 1 km north-west of the P134 highway “The Smolensk Old Road” Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the bank of the Novoselka River. The railway station Zhdanovka on the Moscow - Minsk line is located 3 km north of the village.
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
