It is located in the eastern part of the region 10 km west of Vyazma , 1.5 km north of the M1 Belarus highway, on the banks of the Vyazma river. 6 km south of the village is the 273rd km railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
