It is located in the eastern part of the region 2.5 km north of Vyazma , 0.5 km west of the P134 Staraya Smolenskaya road, Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the banks of the Vyazma River. 1 km east of the village is the Kokorevo railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
