It is located in the eastern part of the region, 8 km north-east of Vyazma , 0.1 km north of the Belarus highway M1 . At 3.5 km north of the village there is a railway station Podojłki on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
