It is located in the eastern part of the region 1 km east of Vyazma , 3 km south of the Belarus highway M1 . 2 km north-west of the village is the Vyazma-Novotorzhskaya railway station on the Vyazma- Rzhev line .
History
During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
