Located in the eastern part of the region, 5 km north of Vyazma , 2 km east of the P134 “Staraya Smolenskaya road” highway Smolensk - Dorogobuzh - Vyazma - Zubtsov , on the bank of the river Roshchechka. In 1 km to the west of the village there is a railway station Novoe Selo on the Vyazma- Rzhev line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
