It is located in the eastern part of the region 0.5 km east of Vyazma , 1 km south of the Belarus highway M1 . 1 km north-east of the village is the Zubarevka railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
