Zubarevka (Vyazemsky district)

Zubarevka ( Zubarevka is pronounced among transport workers, and confirmed by local residents, although Zubarevka is pronounced in the electric train autoinformer) is a village in the Vyazemsky district of the Smolensk region of Russia . Included in the Novoselsky rural settlement. Population - 17 inhabitants ( 2007 ).

It is located in the eastern part of the region, 3 km east of Vyazma , 2 km south of the Belarus highway M1 . 1 km north-west of the village is the Zubarevka railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
