It is located in the eastern part of the region, 11 km north-east of Vyazma , 4 km north of the Belarus highway M1 . 2.5 km to the west of the village is the Podelki railway station on the Moscow - Minsk line .

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
