Located in the eastern part of the region, 3 km north-west of Vyazma , 1 km north of the M1 Belarus road, on the banks of the Bebrya River . The railway station Zolotarevka on the Moscow - Minsk line is located 5 km south of the village.

History

During the Great Patriotic War, the village was occupied by Nazi troops in October 1941 , liberated in March 1943 . [one]
