Description
Zavodskaya is the first stopping point of the Izhevsk-Balezino line of the single-track non-electrified Pibanshur - Izhevsk line . The station began work in 1944 in connection with the opening of traffic on this branch [1] .
In the northern part, station tracks pass over the bridge over the Malinovka River, which flows into the Izhevsk Pond near the station. Further to the north, the railway line in the direction of Lukshuji passes along the shore of the pond, only 100 meters from the water.
To the south of Zavodskaya is a crossing along Tchaikovsky Street . Several industrial service tracks depart from the south mouth of the station, in particular, the access road to the cellular concrete plant.
Previously totaled 5 ways. As of 2017, 3 working paths remained. The last 5th path was completely dismantled. The 4th track railway track was dismantled in 2015.
The station has 2 platforms: lateral and island. The side is long and serves the 1st path. The island platform is short, located between the 2nd and 3rd ways. The transition from one platform to another is possible on two decks laid through the 1st and 2nd tracks and located at the southern end of the platforms (opposite the station building). Turnstiles on platforms are absent.
Station Traffic
All suburban trains stop at the station. Long-distance trains pass Zavodskaya without stopping. As of 2015, commuter trains follow to the stations:
- To the north: Uva I , Chur, Balezino;
- To the south: Izhevsk .
Driving time from Izhevsk station is 13-16 minutes.
Public Transport
At 600 meters from the station, on the Shaberdinsky tract , the Raspberry Mountain stop is located on bus lines 8, 8k, 21, 34 and 353.
