Petropavlovka ( Ukrainian: Petropavlivka ) is a village in the Bogodukhov district of the Kharkov region of Ukraine . It is the administrative center of the Peter and Paul Village Council , which, in addition to it, includes the village of Balabanovka and the village of Yablochnoye .

Geographical position
The village of Petropavlovka is located on the left bank of the Sukhoi Merchik River , at its very origins, and occupies the eastern slope of the river valley. Numerous dams have been created on the river itself and its tributaries. Downstream adjoins the village of Yablochnoye . On the opposite bank is the village of Balabanovka , located on the western slope of the river valley.
At a distance of three kilometers are the railway stations Maksimovka and Buklevskoe .
Name Origin
