Petropavlovka (Bogodukhov district)

The village of Petropavlovka is located on the left bank of the Sukhoi Merchik River , at its very origins, and occupies the eastern slope of the river valley. Numerous dams have been created on the river itself and its tributaries. Downstream adjoins the village of Yablochnoye . On the opposite bank is the village of Balabanovka , located on the western slope of the river valley.

At a distance of three kilometers are the railway stations Maksimovka and Buklevskoe .

The village is named after the apostles Peter and Paul. Village Day - July 12, Peter and Paul Day.
