Save our souls (television series)

There is a Great Patriotic War , 1942 . Senior Lieutenant of the NKVD Krotky ( Mikhail Martyanov ) arrives at the place of his new service - the northern port on the Taimyr Peninsula . By agreement with the allies, a convoy with cargo should soon arrive at the port: cars, food, clothing, weapons. There is also an intermediate base for transporting prisoners to phosphorite mines. Among the prisoners are the famous singer Khrunicheva ( Ekaterina Guseva ), Professor Stolz ( Ilya Rutberg ), a former priest ( Nikita Astakhov ), political, recidivist thieves and even several soldiers. And then Soviet intelligence finds out that among the “friends” a German resident appeared in the port, who manages the German submarines and sends out radio signals.

The young officer immediately encounters a mysterious series of incomprehensible deaths (the corpse of the harpooner, convict Bodyagin ( Alexander Karpov )), he follows the trail of the killer and almost catches up with the suspected person in the cloak, but at the last moment he mystically disappears. Meanwhile, in the department under mysterious circumstances, one by one the headquarters radio operator-womanizer Khrobachkov, Lieutenant Molodechno and a nurse die. The indigenous inhabitants of the peninsula believe that this is the revenge of the shaman Mergen for the extermination of his family.

Lieutenant Krotkiy is trying to unravel the secret of the northern shaman, but there is sorely lacking time. The German resident reincarnates as Major Rydvanov and lets Krotky on the wrong track. And the entire port management is trying to convince the American colonel that everything is calm in the port and everything is ready to receive cargo.

And here the prisoners rebelled (later it turns out that this is also the work of the resident). A real war began in the port, a significant part of the camp’s security, prisoners burst into houses, smash and kill everyone in a row. The leaders of the prisoners take out a map of mining and leaving the city along the river to the sea, capture the tugboat, Gulda, Khrunicheva and go to sea. At the cost of incredible efforts and thanks to a combination of circumstances, Krotkiy will be able to neutralize the enemy, who was constantly nearby.
