Odd side
- No. 3 - the threat of demolition [1] - The five-story apartment building was built in 1914-1915 for the captain’s guard, A.M. Chernikov on the project of civil engineer A.N. Durova [1] . Cartridges in the form of lion heads and scrolls, shields surrounded by plant garlands are used in the decoration of the facades. Entrance doors are decorated with portals, over one of them is a forged visor with floral decorations. Balcony lattices have a geometric ornament with characteristic “modern curls”. The main facade partially retained the original window fillings. The staircase with dolomite steps, graceful railings and delicate stucco decoration, metlakh tiles on the floors of stairwells, stucco decoration of ceilings survived. [1] In April 2017, the Moscow Architectural Council approved the construction of a 6-story residential building on this site under the project of the Tsimailo, Lyashenko & Partners bureau [2] with the complete demolition of Chernikov’s house and the house adjoining it from the south (on some maps) he has a separate address - 2nd Neopalimovsky lane, 1) [1] . In June 2017, an application was submitted to the Department of Cultural Heritage of Moscow to include both buildings of house No. 3 in the register of cultural heritage objects [1] . In October 2017, the object was not included in the list of identified cultural heritage sites of Moscow. [3] The application for inclusion of the northern part of the building in the register, filed in June 2018, and containing new information about the house, was also rejected. [one]
