Story
Mr. Burns one day begins to be sad about the fact that his life is not as rich as he wanted. He complains to Smithers that control of a nuclear power plant takes all of his time, and comes to the conclusion that it is worth selling it. At this time, Homer is called at work by his broker, who claims that the power plant’s shares have grown and he can earn $ 25 from their sale. Homer happily agrees and drinks twenty of them, buying elite beer from Moe.
Due to rumors about the sale of nuclear power plants, its shares have increased dramatically. The whole of Springfield is following this, and Marge considered that their family could help out about five thousand dollars. Delighted that now Lisa will be able to get a quality education, she is immediately disappointed when she finds out that Homer has drunk up all her earnings. The head of the family finds out that he has lost a lot of money, having thrown off his shares prematurely, and comes to despair. The next day, all employees of the nuclear power plant, except for Homer, come to work in new cars.
In the meantime, two German businessmen became interested in the power plant, who eventually bought it from Mr. Burns for $ 100 million. Horrified by the situation at the nuclear power plant, they decide to pursue personnel, and as a result only Homer is fired for his glaring incompetence. The Simpsons are desperate because they have lost their only source of income, and they have to save on everything.
However, Mr. Burns, spending time in the Moe's tavern, notices that after the sale of nuclear power plants, none of his former subordinates are no longer afraid of him, and obsessed with the idea of regaining his former authority, buys the station back at half price and restores Homer.
