By the law of Smolensk region dated May 25, 2017 No. 52-z [1] , on June 5, 2017, through their unification, the Mikheykovskoye and Zaitsevskoye rural settlements were transformed into the Mikheikovskoye rural settlement with an administrative center in the village of Mikheikovo.
The head of the settlement and chairman of the Mikheykovsky Village Council is Avilov Boris Vitalievich. The head of the administration is Basyul Vera Efimovna. [2]
