Story
Lisa asks her father to buy her a saxophone part, since she needs to perform at school. Homer agrees, and on the day of the show he goes to buy it. But instead of the store, he goes to Mo. After drinking properly, he goes to the store, but he is already closed. Having managed to stop the owner of the store, he asks to open it. Having bought the part, he rushes to school, but Lisa’s performance has already ended. Due to the lack of detail, Lisa failed.
Homer is trying to regain the respect of the offended daughter. He decides to fulfill Lisa's long-standing dream by giving her a pony. But a pony costs a lot of money. Homer takes a loan. Mr. Burns approves of the loan on the condition that Homer does not eat the pony. Lisa is happy, but Homer and Marge are shocked to find how expensive the maintenance of the animal is. Homer is forced to get a night job at the whip up supermarket to pay bills. As a result of this, he is very sleep deprived. When Lisa realizes that her father is overworked, she decides to abandon the pony.
