Career

Started in Neustadt. He signed his first professional contract in 1968 with Nuremberg. The brightest moments of his career took place in the Berlin Hertha. He played 253 games for Hertha, scoring 83 goals in them. At one time, he was often called up to the national team, with which he took second place at the 1976 European Football Championship.

He currently lives in Munich .
