Cicindinae (lat.) - a subfamily of ground beetles, including 2 genera and 2 species. It has a torn range (one species in Argentina, and the second in Iran) [1] .

Description
The length of the yellowish-brown body is about 1 cm. The eyes are large. Antennae 11-segmented. Legs are long and thin, legs are 5-segmented, two spurs on legs. They are found on the shores of salt lakes and seas. Includes Cicindis horni - a species of floating predatory ground beetles that can plunge into the depths of the reservoir for their prey [2] .
