Description
The name of the station was chosen by a decision of the Warsaw City Council on December 16, 1983 [1] .
It was opened on April 7, 1995 as part of the first launch site of the Warsaw Metro “Kabaty” - “Polytechnic” .
The station is single-vaulted, shallow . The decor is gray with red walls. The island platform has a width of 10 m and a length of 120 m. It is connected to the surface by 2 stairs (north and south) and an elevator for the disabled on Rakovetskaya Street [2] .
2 tram (17, 33), 6 day bus (119, 167, 168, 174, 195, 700) and 2 night (N34, N36) pass through the station [2] .
Near the station are the Warsaw School of Economics [2] , Pole Mokotovsk, Mokotow prison .
