The Minister for Foreign Affairs of Israel (Sar Ha-Huts Heb. שר החוץ ) is the political head of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs . This position is considered the third largest in the Israeli government, after the Prime Minister and Minister of Defense . The Foreign Minister is also a permanent member of the Israeli Security Cabinet .
