Pangoma ( Karelian. Ponkama ) is a river in Russia , one of the relatively large rivers in the north of Karelia .

It flows through the territory of the Kemsky district [2] . The source of the river is Lake Pongoma . It flows into the Kandalaksha Bay of the White Sea . At the mouth is the village of Pongoma . Snow and rain food. It is rich in fish (perch, pike, vendace, roach, trout, pink salmon, trout, smelt).
It flows through the lakes: Nomozero, Vokshozero, Volina Lambina, Big Rogozero, Small Rogozero.
As of 2016, there were three bridge crossings across the river - a road (Kola railway station, 2 lanes), a railway (Oktyabrskaya railway, 2 tracks) and an automobile bridge in the village of Pongoma. Remains of wooden bridges are also found on the river.
The river abounds with stone exits. There are thresholds.
