Geography
Location
19 km south of Rechitsa and Rechitsa railway station on the Kalinkovichi - Gomel line , 69 km from Gomel .
Transportation System
Transport connection on a country road, and then on the highway Khoiniki - Rechitsa.
The village has 13 residential buildings ( 2004 ). The layout consists of a rectilinear, with a latitudinal orientation, streets. Building with wooden houses.
Hydrography
In the south, the drainage channel.
Ecology and nature
Near the village there are deposits of clay.
History
The village was founded at the beginning of the XX century by immigrants from neighboring villages. In 1908, as part of the Malodushskaya volost of the Rechitsa district of the Minsk province .
In 1931 a collective farm was organized.
During the Great Patriotic War, 6 residents of the village died on the fronts. Birch was liberated on November 14, 1943. In 1959, the village was part of the F.E.Dzerzhinsky collective farm with a center in the village of Rivne Sloboda .
