Lyubka, Andrey Stepanovich

Andrei Lyubka (born December 3, 1987 in Riga , Latvia ) is a Ukrainian poet, translator and essayist. He graduated from the Mukachevo Military School and Ukrainian Philology of Uzhgorod National University .

Known in many countries, he participated in poetry festivals in Berlin, Rio de Janeiro, Prague, Vilnius, Stockholm, Amsterdam, Belgrade, Warsaw, Innsbruck, Podgorica, Moscow, Lviv, Darmstadt, Kiev and other cities. Poems have been translated into more than 10 languages ​​(English, German, Chinese, Turkish, Portuguese, Polish. Russian, Romanian, Macedonian, Serbian, Czech, Slovak, Swedish).

Andriy Lyubka has a scandalous reputation because he wrote about Taras Shevchenko ’s alcoholism , he called Ukrainian literature “a bitch ”, and books - “ kurvy that go hand in hand ” [1] .
