Kachmarek, Jane

Jane Francis Kaczmarek was born in Milwaukee , Wisconsin , into a family of Polish descent ^[4] with teacher Evelyn (nee Gregorsk) and US Department of Defense worker Edward Kaczmarek ^{[5] [6] [7]} . Kachmarek is the youngest of four children. Her brothers, Jim and Bill, worked as a teacher and entrepreneur, respectively. Her sister, Mary, worked for an Internet company. ^[8] The future actress grew up in Grindale , and was raised in the Catholic faith ^[9] . Kachmarek studied theater at the University of Wisconsin in Madison , and later graduated from Yale School of Drama ^[8] .

Kachmarek has played over 40 television roles, the most famous of which include:

• Lois - “ Malcolm in the Spotlight ” (2000–2006)
• Judge Harm - The Simpsons (2001–2010).
• Mrs. Armwood, Frankie Huck's Dental Teacher - “ It Happens and Worse ” (2012–2013).
• Dr. Gallo - The Big Bang Theory (2016).

On August 15, 1992, Kachmarek married actor Bradley Whitford . Three children were born in their marriage: daughters Francis Genevieve (born January 1997) and Mary Louise (born November 25, 2002) and son George Edward (born December 23, 1999). In June 2009, the couple filed for divorce, which was completed in 2010 ^{[10] [11]} .
