Kosovshchinsky village council ( Ukrainian: Kosivshchynska sіlska rada ) - is part of the Sumy region of the Sumy region of Ukraine .

The administrative center of the village council is located in s. Kosovism [1] .
The population is 3280 people [2] . 1158 households (yards) (as of August 21, 2008).
The village council was created after the liberation of. Kosovism from German troops in 1943. Prior to this, the territory of the village council was part of Stepanovskaya and Tereshkovskaya volosts of Sumy county.
The Kosovshchinsky village council is located on the right bank of the Sumka River, (part of which forms the Kosovshchinsky reservoir ), as well as its tributaries.
The village council borders on the north with the Stepanovsky village council, in the west with the Podlesnovsky village council, in the south with the Sadovsky and V. Vilmovsky village councils and in the east with the city of Sumy .
