Shvetsova street runs from Stachek Avenue to Mikhailovsky Lane .

The street was built up at the beginning of the 20th century and was then called Nekrasovskaya Street . Since October 1923, this street bears the name of the old Putilovets, agitator of the Narva Party Committee, Timofei Safronovich Shvetsov (1863-1919). T. S. Shvetsov worked for many years at the Putilov factory. In 1917, he joined the ranks of the RSDLP (b). He was placed at the head of the campaign team of the Narva outpost. TS Shvetsov took an active part in the preparation of the October armed uprising, in establishing working control over production.

T. S. Shvetsov died in 1919. He was buried in the Red Cemetery , where the graves of the Putilov revolutionaries are located.
