The M. M. Shemyakin Prize is a scientific award of the Russian Academy of Sciences . Awarded by the Department of Physico-Chemical Biology (OFCB) of the Russian Academy of Sciences for outstanding work in the field of bioorganic chemistry .
The award is named in honor of the outstanding Soviet biochemist Hero of Socialist Labor academician M. M. Shemyakin .
