The company was founded by the merger of Grandi ( Reykjavik ) and Haraldur Böðvarsson ( Akranes ) on January 1, 2004 . Later that year, the company merged with Tangi and Svanur RE-45 . The company owns factories in Reykjavik , Akranes and Vopnafjordur . HB Grandi supplies all its products to Europe .
