The most popular roles of the Show are the role of Donald Grant in the second film of Bond ’s film “ From Russia with Love ” (1963), the relentless tanker Colonel Hessler in “The Battle for the Ledge” (1965), the young Henry VIII in the film “ Man for All Times ” (1966 ), Lord Randolph Churchill in the movie “ Young Winston ” (1972), the ruthless gangster Doyle Lonnigan in the film “ Scam ” (1973), the cruel and cold-blooded “Mr. Blue” in the film “ Capture the Pelem 1-2-3 Train ” (1974) obsessed with sharks fisherman Quint in the movie " Jaws " (1975), the lighthouse keeper and treasure hunter Romer T Isa in the film " The Abyss " (1977) and an agent of the Israeli Mossad David Kabakov in the movie " Black Sunday " (1977).

Writer and writer career

Later, Robert Shaw proceeded to the whole trilogy - “ Flag ” (1965), “ Man in a Glass Booth ” (1967) and “ Maps from Morocco ”; the trilogy served as a theatrical adaptation of the work “Man in a Glass Booth”, which brought him great popularity. The book and the script are a complex and morally ambiguous story about a man who at various points in history was either a Jewish businessman, pretending to be a fascist war criminal, or a fascist war criminal, pretending to be a Jewish businessman. The scenario is quite controversial; After theatrical performances in the USA and Great Britain, some critics positively assessed the cunning, clever and full-fledged analysis of moral issues concerning citizenship and personality, while others, on the contrary, condemned Shaw for raising such a delicate and controversial issue. Before being shown on television, the script was significantly changed; the resulting picture did not receive the approval of the author, and his name was deleted from the final credits.
