More specifically, Mac OS X includes the full electronic version of the New Oxford American Dictionary and Oxford American Writter's Thesaurus .
On Mac OS X, this dictionary is represented by the Dictionary icon. Double-clicking this icon calls it to enter the desired word or phrase.
Features
Dictionary offers several sources of reference material, for example, dictionaries (in English and Japanese), Apple's dictionary of terms, thesaurus , word search and Wikipedia (if the computer is connected to the Internet) and the New Oxford American Dictionary and Oxford American Writter's Thesaurus dictionaries ". You can select the source for the word search, as well as set up “Parental Control” to limit the access rights of certain users to the specified words.
