History

It was founded in 1996 by Nelson Gonzalez and Alexa Agila. They gave the name to their offspring, being impressed by the cult series The X-Files (The X-Files). For a long time, the company remained a small community of enthusiasts. Almost all of the company's employees were also avid gamers, so the motto of Alienware was "Created by gamers for gamers" (this motto belongs to the company "Razer"). When developing its products, the company focused on its unique appearance and the highest level of performance, especially in graphics. Design and stylish appearance have always been one of the main priorities, and the cases manufactured by Alienware have always stood out among other products on the market (while the design always plays out the motives of alien civilizations and the alien's physiognomy, even on the logo).

However, in addition to the image component, the company is famous for technology and innovation.

Alienware was the first to bring a range of new technologies to the market.

- The first gaming laptop.

- The first laptop with dual graphics.

- Liquid cooling for all desktops as standard.

It is very important to emphasize that the company was one of the first in the market (if not the first) to deal with such a direction as mobile gaming solutions. In the old days [ when? ] The specifications of American gaming laptops Alienware often caused sighs of envy among Russian lovers of mobile solutions. Then all the major manufacturers completely ignored this segment, and a distinct competitive market for gaming laptops simply did not exist.

So, until 2006, the company was independent. It was a small company that served only six countries (USA, Canada and four countries in Western Europe) and worked in only four languages. In 2006, it was bought by Dell, and since then Alienware plans to be represented worldwide.

There are relatively few products in Alienware’s modern portfolio: two desktop gaming stations, three gaming laptop models, two “desktop replacement” classes, and one mobile, as well as a range of accessories.
