Sulur ( Isl. Súlur ) is a volcano in Iceland . Sulur is located in the northern part of Iceland, in the Nordyurland-Estra region . It is part of the nearby Kiedling volcano system. Sulur has two peaks, the higher reaches 1 213 meters, the smaller - 1 144 meters. The mountain is located in the southwest of the largest city of Northern Iceland - Akureyri .

The mountain rests on a 500-meter basalt sole. The top consists mainly of luminous rhyolite . The mountain range, which includes Kedling and Sulur, includes several more peaks (e.g. Litli- and Stori Krummi - Maly Voron and Bolshoi Voron mountains). In the lowlands between the mountains remains of the glacier.
The volcanic system Kedling - Sulur is actively used by lovers of mountain tourism .
