Akureyri Church ( Isl. Akureyrarkirkja ) is a Lutheran church in the city of Akureyri in northern Iceland . The building is located on a hill in the city center.

The project of the church was created by the famous Icelandic architect Goodyon Samuelson , the construction was completed in 1940 [1] . The church organ has 3200 pipes. The central stained glass window , located behind the altar, was previously located in Coventry Cathedral .
