Franciszek Kensy ( Polish: Franciszek Kęsy ; November 13, 1920 , Berlin - November 24, 1942 , Dresden ) - a blessed Roman Catholic church , a martyr , layman . He is among the 108 blessed Polish martyrs who were beatified by Pope John Paul II during his visit to Warsaw on June 13, 1999.

Biography
Franciszek Kensy was born in Berlin in the family of Stanislav and Anna from the stove house. In 1921, the Francis Pensi family moved to Poland. He graduated from the Salesian Oratorio in Poznan . Belonged to the organization “Volunteer detachment of the Western lands”. On September 23, 1940, the Gestapo was arrested and on April 23, 1941 he was interned in the Neukölln Prison in Berlin, and in May 1941 he was transferred to the Zwickau Prison. He was executed on August 1, 1942 in the city of Dresden.
Praise
On June 13, 1999, he was beatified by Pope John Paul II along with other Polish martyrs of World War II .
