The European Speed Skating Championship of 1902 - the tenth European Championship, which was held January 18 - 19 in Davos ( Switzerland ). The championship was held at four distances: 500, 1500, 5000 and 10,000 meters. Only men took part in the competition - 9 skaters from 7 countries. Johan Schwartz ( Norway ) became the absolute winner of the European Championship. Russia was represented at the championship by Finnish speed skater Franz Vaten .
