History

It was opened at the beginning of 1979 to serve the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line . At the same time, morning flights were practiced from Devyatkino to Vosstaniya Ploshchad and without a CER transfer to Mayakovskaya and to Primorskaya . In 1995, after the “erosion” between the Lesnaya and Ploschad Vuzhstvo stations, the Nevsko-Vasileostrovskaya line was transferred to the PM-5 Nevskoye . PM-4 began to serve only the cut-off section of the Kirov-Vyborg line between the stations "Devyatkino" and "Square of Courage".

Since 2008 is not traction. The trains along with the drivers were transferred to the PM-1 Avtovo . It is used for repair of EPS and sludge composition PM-1 [1] , as well as PM-5.

Location

Despite the fact that the Devyatkino metro station closest to the depot is terrestrial , after it the metro paths go down underground again, and thus the depot portal goes underground and then goes to the surface. This is done in order to skip the railway tracks.

Previously, the depot had a connecting branch with the Oktyabrskaya Railway, but in 2006 it was dismantled during the reconstruction of railway tracks. At the moment, in its place there is a road covered with gravel and locked gates in the depot. However, sawn rails were left at the very beginning of the connecting branch to ensure the possibility of restoration of the branch in case of emergency [1] .

Depot Collector System

The system, consisting of three long (up to 300 m) and two short collectors, begins even under the railway section Devyatkino - Lavriki . The length of the first collector is approximately 50 meters. After a small spill at the entrance depot, another collector begins, already leaving under the depot. The lattice in this collector is cracked, the depth of the water, as elsewhere, is 15–20 cm.

After the next spill, located between the fences, a three-point pipe begins with a length of about 10 m, along which it can no longer go to full growth. After a short gap, the longest collector begins, its cross section allows a passenger car to pass. It is not straight, so the other end is not visible, at the exit there is a small waterfall .
