Oleg Olegovich Yanushevich (born April 9, 1966 , Podolsk ) is a Russian dentist, rector of the Moscow State Medical and Dental University named after A. I. Evdokimova (since 2007), Doctor of Medical Sciences , Professor , Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2016). Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation .

Biography

Born on April 9, 1966 in the city of Podolsk, Moscow Region . Mother - Lyudmila Borisovna Yanushevich - worked all her life in kindergarten .

He entered the medical profession and the Moscow Medical Dental Institute as a nurse. I didn’t enter the university from the first attempt, and a year before the draft I worked at the department of faculty surgical dentistry. He became a student at the Moscow Institute of Mathematics and Mathematics in 1986, after completing military service in the Soviet Army. The first to discover hard tissue implants. After graduating from the institute with a "red diploma" in 1991, he entered the residency and then graduate school at the department of hospital therapeutic dentistry.

In 1996 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of medical sciences, and in 2001 - the degree of doctor of medical sciences. Doctoral dissertation is devoted to the principles of an individualized approach to assessing and reducing operational risks in severe patients.

Since 2002, he became vice-rector of MGMSU for medical work.

In 2007, he was elected rector of the University and in 2012 re-elected for a second term.

O. O. Yanushevich successfully combines scientific, teaching and administrative work with active clinical activity; his specialization is a complex contingent of patients with concomitant somatic pathology, including diseases of the endocrine and cardiovascular systems. Much attention is paid to the use of odontopreserving biotechnologies and dental implantology, the treatment of osteoporosis. Developed and implemented unique methods for the prevention of complications during operations on directed tissue regeneration (NTR).

He published about 190 scientific papers, issued several textbooks and teaching aids. He is the author of 12 patents for inventions.

The main freelance specialist is a dentist at the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation , a member of the Expert Council of the Ministry of Health, a member of the Coordinating Council of the Ministry of Health for high-tech expensive operations.

Vice-President of the Russian Society of Physicians, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Rectors of Medical and Pharmaceutical Universities.

Rewards

In 2012, he was awarded the Order of Friendship by decree of the President of the Russian Federation.

In 2017, he was awarded the Order of Honor [1] .
