Usacheva Street [1] (sometimes mistaken Usachev Street ) is a street in the center of Moscow in Khamovniki between Holznova Lane and Khamovnichesky Val . Here is the park "Trubetskoy Manor" .

Origin of title
In the XVIII century - Nashchokinsky lane by the name of the landlord Nashchokin. The modern name is by the name of the merchant S. I. Usachev who lived here at the beginning of the XIX century; some time called Usachev lane [2] . The common name for this street in the form of the genitive case, Usacheva Street, is incorrect [3] .
Description
Usacheva street is a continuation of Obolensky alley behind Kholzunova alley. It passes to the south-west along the park "Trubetskoy Manor in Khamovniki" , crosses Trubetskaya Street , 1st Shibaevsky Pereulok and Kooperativnaya Street adjoin it, on the right - Usachevsky Pereulok , crosses 10th Anniversary Street of October , then Saveliev Street goes to the left and on the right is the Training Lane . Ends on the street Khamovnichesky Val.
Notable buildings and structures
Basically, the street is built up with typical four-five-storey brick houses built in the late 20s ( Usachevsky (“Usachevka” working village) , 1925—1928, architect A.I. Meshkov , with the participation of N. Molokov, N. Shcherbakov, engineers G. Maslennikova, A. Volkova and others.)

- No. 1 is the site where the Trubetskoy House stood — an architectural monument of the second half of the 18th century. In 2002, the monument of architecture was demolished and subsequently replaced by a concrete replica [4] .

- Number 11 - the building of the plant "Kauchuk" (1915-1916, architect R. I. Klein , demolished [5] ). Now ow. 11, 3rd turn of construction, quarter No. 5 (housing of residential development No. 5.1, 5.2). The designed residential complex consists of two 12-15-storey buildings, united by a common 1-2-storey underground part.
- No. 29 (cor. 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 9) - residential buildings built in 1928, are part of the residential complex " Usachevka " (architects A.I. Meshkov , N.M. Molokov, N. A. Shcherbakov, A. N. Volkov, Galkin, engineer G. P. Maslennikov). In the framework of the civil initiative “ Last Address ”, a memorial sign was installed on the house with the name of accountant Vladimir Petrovich Yakovlev [6] , who was shot during the Stalinist repressions . The database of the Memorial Human Rights Society includes the names of 26 residents of this house who were shot during the terror years [7] .

Initially, the ground floor of the building constructed in the constructivist style was put on “legs” - round concrete pillars; later the first floor was laid, which made the whole building heavier. The construction was carried out by the Russian-German society "Rusgerstroy" according to the "warm concrete" method. - No. 50 - No. 7735487000 school building (1929–1930, architects M. I. Motylev , B. A. Malyshev). Originally - the 2nd exemplary school of the Frunzensky district [10] . The building is completely renovated and completed, now it is Lyceum number 1535 .
- No. 62 is a residential building. Here lived the linguist O. N. Trubachev [11] .
- No. 66A - school building (1935, architect K. I. Dzhus-Danilenko ). On the basis of this school building, K. I. Dzhus-Danilenko developed a model project that received more than 60 implementations. Now - school number 45.
