Irinform (formed from Ossetia . Iryston - Ossetia and “inform”) - the state news agency of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania . Full name: State Institution "Information Agency of the Republic of North Ossetia - Alania" Irinform ". Founded in 1992 by order of the Council of Ministers of the North Ossetian ASSR in order to provide central television channels with operational information from the region.

The director-chief editor of the Irinform agency — Tabolova Irina Alekseevna , a well-known journalist, whose name often sounded on the air of the Vremya program in the 1980s and 1990s. It was Irina Tabolova who, together with the agency team, laid the foundation for reliable cooperation with the federal media. Materials shot by journalists of the Irinform agency are aired on Channel One Channel , Zvezda TV Channel , RBC and the local TV channel Alania . The agency’s team was awarded the Honorary Diploma of the Republic of South Ossetia-Alania, diplomas and certificates from the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

Since 1996, the creative studio for students of North Ossetian State University has been working at the Irinform agency ^[1] . Among the graduates of the studio is Ilya Kostin , a special correspondent for Channel One ^[2] , Timur Kusov , a TV journalist, Alexander Kundukhov, a correspondent for the Vesti program, and many others.
