Geographical position

The village of Reutintsy is located on the left bank of the Ret River , the city of Krolevets is located upstream at a distance of 3 km, the village of Obtovo is located downstream at a distance of 4 km. A drying creek with a dam flows through the village. The highway T-2503 passes through the village.

History

The first written records of the village date back to around 1625 . One of the letters of the time said that the Reutins belonged to the rich Pole Vissel. In 1689, the village was transferred to the ownership of the Ukrainian centurion Pyotr Mikhailovich Zabele . Subsequently, the village came to one of his descendants - Vladimir Zabile, a despotic, selfish person who knew no bounds of his cruelty. He built a church in the village, which was called Vladimirskaya.

Subsequently, the St. Petersburg nobleman Tatishchev inherited Reutintsy. He didn’t see him, but he was very dissatisfied with his Ukrainian estate, where the ruler profited, and he received only insignificant crumbs. That is why he offered the rural community to buy his land for 40 thousand rubles.

The peasants did not have the opportunity to buy land, and the estate went to the Kolevets merchant and weaver Ryndi. Ryndya resettled the peasants on the right bank of the Revka River to get his own peace and security. But time after time, peasant riots arose.

In 1861, ten families managed to redeem themselves from bondage. They founded the New Street, which exists today. This street is located on a steep hump on the left bank of the Ret River on sandy soils. Subsequently, only the landowner's buildings remained on the site of the former settlement. At that time, there were already 2 churches in the village (Pokrovska and Vladimirskaya). There were almost no literate people in the village, and only in 1886 a school for one class was opened at the church.

Immediately after the victory of the February Revolution, the news of which was brought by the villagers from Konotop and Krolevets, the peasants thought that liberation had come from tsarist and landlord oppression. But changes in life never happened, the land and power remained in the hands of the rich. The peasants first came to power in December 1917. Soviet power was established in the village in January in 1918.

During collectivization in 1931, two collective farms were founded in the village: Spartak and Krasny Lan. Subsequently, in 1932, the third collective farm, Zvezda, was founded in the village. In 1935, a seven-year school was opened in the village. The growth of agricultural production has led to the need for qualified personnel. That is why on October 20, 1936, on the basis of the pig farm (the former buildings of the landowner Ryndi), a school of combine-foreman leaders was opened, which was then called the School of Agricultural Mechanization.

The Great Patriotic War brought the villagers great human and material losses. According to inaccurate data on the war fronts, in hard labor and at the hands of the Nazis, more than 400 villagers died. On October 30, a detachment of partisans led by Kolpak set off for the Carpathian raid, and in the village encountered armed policemen who were driving carts from Krolevets to Korop. A battle took place in which the latter were defeated. September 3, 1943 the village was liberated from the Nazi invaders.

Our time

On the territory of the village council there are: a feldsher-midwife station, a kindergarten "Birch", a comprehensive school of the 1st – 2nd centuries, a Reutinsky professional agrarian lyceum, a rural cultural center, post offices, shops.
