History
Start
The band was created by two former members and guitarists of the Shogun band at the end of 1995 - Vratko Rogon and Mayo Chromi. They wanted to be distinguished by their name from other groups and therefore were called Iné Kafe (Other Cafe), which was originally written in Cyrillic. The first part of the group was played by bass player Richard Barger and drummer Noro Komada. In early 1996, Barger and the rest of the group learned that Komada was taking drugs and after several warnings he was expelled from the group. In March, the Prazhents brothers (Vayo - bass, Dodo - drums) from the Grg and Prd groups join the group. With this lineup, they give their first concert and record their first Kachny demo in Trencin . However, in September, Mayo Chromi leaves the group and leaves for Prague. Vratko takes the place at the microphone, and in December, Marek 'Cibi' Cibula was accepted as a vocalist. With this line-up, in 1997 they recorded the demo “ Situácia ” . In 1998, the group worked on their debut album, which they decided to release on Shotgun Records. Finally, in October, the album “ Vitaj! " . Hit 090X gets into rotation on the radio.
Way up
The group is filming a clip for their debut single. In early 1999, the band heads to Vitaj! Tour Tomasz 'Yxo' Dognanski and the Hex band were recruited as the second guitarist on this tour, but he will soon leave this post .. He is replaced by Peter 'Fiski' Kudola. In May, Marek 'Cibi' Tsibula leaves the band due to a reluctance to participate in concerts and a conflict with other members. Vratko Rogon takes the place of the vocalist and the group records the single “Svätý Pokoj” . He is the second single before the album Čumil . This album attracts media attention. The group is increasingly appearing on television. The sudden arrival of fame and money leads the group to split into two camps: Vratko on one side, Dodo and Vaio on the other. Both sides blame each other, lawsuits between participants begin. This leads to the breakup of the band when Dodo and Vaillot leave the band and, together with their former vocalist 'Cibi' and concert guitarist Rob from the end of 1999, create Plus Mínus, which was originally a copy of Iné Kafé. Soon, three are left in a dispute with Vratko (Robo does not want to participate in the conflict).

In May, Peter 'Forus' Fora (bass), Tibor Prikler (guitar) and Dano Matgia join the group. In this line-up, the group gives concerts and records the single “Kto Na To Príde?” , And then, in September, the full-length third album “ Je Tu Niekto? " . In 2001, work began on the book Úspešne Zapojení , which contains the history of the group in the form of interviews with former members. At the same time, the group is working on their fourth album , Príbeh . It was released in September 2001 and becomes Iné Kafe's best album. It seemed that the group would become the most popular on the mainstream stage, when suddenly in 2002 Tibor left the group.
Back to the roots
The group refuses to play on tour with pop musicians. Gently put up with Cibi, Vaillot and Dodo. As a sign of reconciliation, as well as at the request of loyal fans, they re-record the first demos and combine them into the album “ Situácia & Kachny ” . In early 2003, the group is preparing material for a new album, but Dano Matgia leaves the group, having received an invitation to play in Mallorca. He is replaced by drummer Jan Rosborra of the Vanilla Club. The album is called Bez Udania Dôvodu , which is placed on the cover under the front wheel of the Volga car . For the first time on this album, the name Inekafe was used instead of Iné Kafe. The reason for the release of the new album only in 2003 was the fact that releasing albums every year was tiring. After the release of Príbeh , the group was at the limit of its strength and decided to temporarily leave the stage and pause in creativity. In 2005, the group organizes a special Situácia a Vitaj! Tour in which the musicians who recorded these albums play (Cibi, Vratko, Dodo, Vayo). The group gives only six concerts (two each in Slovakia , Moravia and the Czech Republic ). However, the official composition is still: Vratko, Forus and Rosbor.
2006 - 2009
At the beginning of 2006, the main member of Iné Kafe, the guitarist and vocalist, decides to take up aviation, which is incompatible with the vigorous activity in the group. The participants did not use the opportunity to replace him with another member of the group and on February 17, 2006 the group announced the termination of its activities. On their official website, the group turned to fans asking them to no longer write emails asking them to reunite or give their last concert. And yet, under the pressure of fans, on May 22, 2008, the group gives a free exclusive concert of four people who never appeared on stage together, but were in Iné Kafe longer than the rest. The concert was given in Bratislava in the Mlinsky valley. At this concert, the group announced the release date of the collection of the best songs, which will be released on September 9, 2009. Since the group has a large fan base in the Czech Republic , they played there on January 31, 2009 in Prague . Initially, the concert was decided to be held in the Folimanka concert hall, but then it was transferred to the big stage in Incheba Aréna. The recording of this concert was released in April 2009 on a DVD entitled “Live In Praha”, where in addition all the videos of the group and other bonuses were placed. In the same year, the group announced the recording of the Best Of collection, which was scheduled for release in April 2010.
Return
2010
At this time, the band’s future activities were not foreseen, but under the pressure of fans, on January 11, 2010, Inekafe officially announced their return to the scene. With the single "Deja vu", the band celebrated their reunion. In spring, a double CD "Najlepších 15 rockov" was released, the first of which contained the best hits of the group, and the second a remake of selected songs. Two video clips were shot for him: "Deja vu" and "Pomôžte mi so mnou" based on the compositions of the same name. In the summer of 2010, the group played at three summer festivals and at the end of the year closed in the studio, starting work on a new album, the first in eight years.
