Development
The main developer of LiVES is Gabriel Finch, who is also a widget and is engaged in video art .
The project was launched in 2002 , version 1.0 was released on July 22, 2009.
Features
LiVES allows the user to edit video both in real time and not in real. Also, this application has some functions that are not characteristic of traditional video editors, for example, it can be controlled via the network, it can broadcast the video stream of another copy of LiVES.
LiVES uses a plug- in system for creating effects, encoding, decoding and playback, there is an API for expanding functionality.
