It was expected that 50,000 A1 would be sold in 2010. An appropriate number of cars were produced. Of these, 28,000 found their customers, and in Germany 40% was sold to dealers or purchased for internal use by Audi itself . During the same period, the BMW brand sold 42,000 Mini cars [4] .
Until September 2010, only 2,000 copies of the A1 were sold in Germany; established since then and to date, sales amount to a little more than 2000 per month [5] . The sales plan for 2011 was 120,000 A1 cars (worldwide). Sales began in China [6] .
Specifications
The Audi A1 is produced on the same PQ25 platform as the Volkswagen Polo V and Seat Ibiza IV .
All A1 series models except 1.4 TFSI 185 hp and 1.6 TDI S tronic 90 liters. with. are standardly equipped with a Start-stop system and a recovery system that reduce fuel consumption [7] .
The dual-clutch gearbox is aggregated only with supercharged gasoline and diesel engines. Later, an economical 75 hp diesel engine will appear on the market. Today, such an engine, installed in the Volkswagen Polo model, consumes 3.3 liters of fuel per 100 km with a CO 2 emission of 87 g / km.
In 2011, sales of the Audi A1 e-tron electric car with a power reserve of 50 km began. Its power is 102 hp, the maximum torque is 240 N · m. On a long trip, the power drops to 61 hp. The maximum speed is 130 km / h; acceleration from 0 to 100 km / h in 10.2 seconds.
A single-stage gearbox is used to transmit torque. In the event of a discharge in the path of a lithium-ion battery installed in front of the rear axle, a 20 hp rotary piston engine is used to recharge it, located under the luggage compartment. The so-called Range Extender system allows you to increase the range by another 200 km. A discharged battery is fully charged in three hours from a 400 V electrical outlet. Fuel consumption should be about two liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers [8] .
