Vadim Borisovich Gomolyaka ( October 17 ( 30 ), 1914 , Kiev - May 7, 1980 , ibid.) - Ukrainian Soviet composer . Honored Artist of the Ukrainian SSR ( 1958 ). Laureate of the Stalin Prize of the third degree ( 1951 ). Member of the CPSU since 1953 .

Biography

From 1939 to 1941 he studied at the historical and theoretical faculty of the Kiev Conservatory , and from 1941 to 1942 at the composer's faculty of the Tashkent Conservatory. He participated in the Great Patriotic War . [one]

A year after the end of the war, in 1946, he graduated from the Kiev Conservatory (with L.N. Revutsky ). In 1946 - 1948 - a teacher of theoretical subjects at the Kiev Conservatory. In 1951 - 1956 - Secretary of the USSR SK . From 1958 to 1976 - Head of the Office of the Ukrainian branch of the USSR Music Fund .

The author, in addition to the works listed below, seven concerts ( 1949 - 1980 ), choirs , romances , suites and songs.
